GAA News - Dr. Theresa Mamah, Children´s Author, Storyteller, and Musician with the mission to help young readers across the globe create something beautiful out of a difficult experience will speak at the 2015 US-Africa Business Matchmaking Conference in Austin-Texas.
Dr. Theresa Mamah is a Children´s Author, Storyteller, and Musician with the mission to help young readers across the globe create something beautiful out of a difficult experience. At the heart of her new children´s book, What the Baby Saw, is Dr. Mamah´s revelation of how one can face death, adoption, immigration, and uncertainty, all factors she confronted and overcame during her childhood.
Born from a Hungarian mother and Nigerian father, Dr. Mamah refined her skill of writing after hearing culturally rooted stories from her parents about their childhood, which were entrenched in faith and nobility. Her father, Dr. Matthew Okpoma Mamah obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and later became a politician and President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture in Port-Harcourt, Nigeria. Theresa´s mother, Judit Agota Mamah, a chemical engineer, philanthropist, music teacher, and the author of three children´s books, instilled the love of writing into her five children, particularly Theresa.
About The Event

The 2015 US-Africa Business Matchmaking Conference (UABMC) will bring together business owners from Africa and the United States to discuss existing and potential opportunities in both markets. The event will take place from November 19 - 21, 2015 at the Asian Resource Center in Austin-Texas. The event is a high-level global conference that will feature business expo, business matchmaking, panel seasons, fashion show, and networking receptions to facilitate effective partnership building for businesses, investors and government´s entities.
The event theme is ''Localization and Matching of US & Africa Businesses´´. The event is organized by AFTV5 (African Television Network) in partnership with GABCC (Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce), ALB (African Leadership Bridge) and GAA (Global Attain Advancement). ''This year's event will be epic, we are thrilled to be able to provide a platform of two panels with over 14 speakers, business expo, business matchmaking and endless networking opportunities, said by Bako Ambianda, the event director. ''
