GAA News - Preston, Co-Founder/Chairman of E3 Angel Network focused on increasing angel investment participation amongst African Americans, Latinos and Women will speak at the 2015 US-Africa Business Matchmaking Conference in Austin-Texas.
Preston is the Co-Founder/Chairman of E3 Angel Network, which is the first in Texas focused on increasing angel investment participation amongst African Americans, Latinos and Women accredited investors as well as increasing the number of minority led startups that get early stage funding. Most recently, in August of 2015, he was appointed to the position of Entrepreneur in Residence at the Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship , Growth and Renewal in the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas.
A former 20 year veteran at Dell, where he served in executive leadership roles in Enterprise IT Technology Sales and consulting where he oversaw teams responsible for driving$250M+ in revenues. Preston is an active mentor, advisor and consultant to tech startups, small businesses and social enterprises. He also serves on the board for The Fifty (Seton Health Fund), The Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce and the Austin Vipers Basketball Club (AAU). He is a member of the Central Texas Angel Network and a mentor at Capital Factory.
About The Event

The 2015 US-Africa Business Matchmaking Conference (UABMC) will bring together business owners from Africa and the United States to discuss existing and potential opportunities in both markets. The event will take place from November 19 - 21, 2015 at the Asian Resource Center in Austin-Texas. The event is a high-level global conference that will feature business expo, business matchmaking, panel seasons, fashion show, and networking receptions to facilitate effective partnership building for businesses, investors and government´s entities.
The event theme is ''Localization and Matching of US & Africa Businesses´´. The event is organized by AFTV5 (African Television Network) in partnership with GABCC (Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce), ALB (African Leadership Bridge) and GAA (Global Attain Advancement). ''This year's event will be epic, we are thrilled to be able to provide a platform of two panels with over 14 speakers, business expo, business matchmaking and endless networking opportunities, said by Bako Ambianda, the event director. ''
